Attorney Coşkun Genç graduated from MEF University Faculty of Law in 2019, ranking third in his faculty. After his undergraduate studies, he continued his academic work in Public Law at the same university and earned his master's degree with a thesis on cybercrimes.

In his professional career, he gained practical experience in litigation, legal consultancy and dispute resolution while working at various corporate law firms. His practice focuses mainly on cybercrimes, criminal law, compensation law, cryptocurrency law, capital markets law, tenancy law, disputes arising from customs legislation and enforcement law.

As a cybercrime lawyer in Istanbul, he provides legal consultancy and litigation services in matters involving forex fraud, illegal betting offences, stock market fraud, offences committed via social media, fraud based on promises of investment returns, bank and credit card fraud, and offences committed through information systems.

Cybercrimes and digital evidence lie at the heart of his academic and professional research. He is the author of “Investigation Procedure for Cybercrimes and Methods of Lawfully Obtaining Evidence in Light of Judicial Decisions (Yargı Kararları Işığında Bilişim Suçlarının Soruşturma Usulü ve Hukuka Uygun Delil Elde Etme Yöntemleri)” and “Investigation of Cybercrimes and Protective Measures (Bilişim Suçlarının Soruşturulması ve Koruma Tedbirleri)”. In these works, he examines investigation procedures for cybercrimes, the obtaining and evaluation of electronic and digital evidence, and the protective measures applied in criminal proceedings.

Attorney Coşkun Genç, whose legal articles have been published in the Istanbul Bar Association Journal (İstanbul Barosu Dergisi), writes a regular column for hukukihaber.net. Alongside his legal work, he has an interest in literature and has collected his literary writings in the essay book “Portrait (Portre)”. For a time, he also wrote a column for the magazine “Hatırla”.
